Things
often occur in the Internet world that affect your connectivity
with Nation Internet.
While we try to provide uninterrupted service, there are occasional happenings
"behind the scenes" that can keep you from getting connected or from
viewing your web pages.
Here
are rules of thumb if you are experiencing difficulties:
Dialups: If
you can't connect, wait 15-20 minutes before calling technical support. Often, during
peak hours, telephone circuits can be overloaded and this can cause temporary
connection problems.
Web
Browsing: Even
if you are having trouble downloading pages from multiple sites,
always check one
of the "seldom ever down" sites, like microsoft.com. If
you can get to
one of these sites, then the problem is not with you or your ISP (Nation Internet),
it is elsewhere on the Internet. Remember, when browsing web sites
you can be routed through as many as 15-20 pieces of the Internet and
each one could be a potential reason for a page not loading or for loading
slowly.
